New MSN Messenger

Microsoft have released a new version of its MSN Messenger Service, version 2.2.1053.

Changes in Current Version:
Starting late April 2000, children age 12 & under who live in the U.S. need a Kids Passport to use this messenger service. A Kids Passport requires the consent of a parent or guardian to use this service. If you have more than one child age 12 & under, you must give consent for each child's Passport account.

Win2000 tweak guide

No, not ours. tweaktown have finally put up their Windows 2000 guide though.

Windows 2000 controls memory usage (eg Virtual Memory) a little differently to Windows 9x - Windows 2000 gives you an option to either optimize performance for Applications or Background services. This option is used to ensure that each application or "service" is given equal processor resources.
